NCH Software Enhances IVR Solution

NCH Software has announced an upgrade to its flagship product, IVM, which are a call attendant, voicemail and interactive response system.

The new version comes with an intuitive Web management console which allows administrators to set up and access voicemail systems, interactive voice response (IVR) systems and outbound dialing operations, all from a remotely-located PC.

"The Web management console is not designed to replace the application interface of the IVM," explained Stephanie Lee, marketing manager for the Denver based software company.
"Instead it is meant to provide an alternative to setting up and managing a telephone system, small or large, on a Web interface which more and more people are becoming accustomed to configuring information."

With this new offering, an administrator sitting in any part of the world can remotely access the administrator.
The new version also allows administrators to not only to restart the IVR server remotely but also to view logs, set passwords, check voicemail and set up or modify all system settings, voice prompts, menus and outbound dialing options.

In addition to these capabilities, end-users are also provided with the ability to access their voicemail and the system can record the Caller ID, time and duration of a call.

"IVM is one of our most important telephony applications in our range because it can be used by businesses in such a diverse way, as well as connecting and integrating with our other telephony solutions and applications" said Lee.
"NCH Software, like most businesses, uses the IVM as a call attendant and voicemail system in conjunction with our Virtual PBX, Axon, but it is also popular for the interactive outbound dialing and message delivery capabilities."

Recently, TMCnet reported that NCH Software announced the release of a number of new applications for Linux.
