2010 Unified Communications TMC Labs Innovation Award

Technology Marketing Corporation, a global integrated media company, has announced the Third Annual Unified Communications TMC Labs Innovation Award.

This TMC Labs Innovation Award will honor ground-breaking products in the unified communications world. Innovation frequently involves taking an existing idea and improving it, as challenging established standards and introducing different approaches often yields distinctive results.

For Tom Keating, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Technology Editor for TMC Labs, unified communications has seen “incredible” growth in the last year.

“Due to the outstanding advances in UC technologies and the ever-increasing new entries in this market, TMC Labs resolves to recognize those who are making strides in advancing UC solutions with this Innovation Award,” Keating said.

The TMC Labs Innovation Award is weighed on the basis that a product or service demonstrates raw innovation and uniqueness and represents a significant contribution to the industry. Company revenue or the number of products sold is not a factor in determining winners.

According to TMC CEO Rich Tehrani, TMC Labs is seeking trendsetters in unified communications solutions.

“The companies whose products break the mold with a new product launch or devised a brilliant spin to an existing application should apply,” Tehrani said. “TMC Labs engineers have extensive knowledge of the UC market and are anxious to begin their search for companies to honor with this award. Only a handful of companies that show their out-of-box thinking to transform the industry will be honored.”

TMC Labs profiles each of the winning vendors with individual, in-depth reviews in Unified Communications magazines, www.uc-mag.com, June/July 2010 issue.

TMC Labs is the industry’s only in-house testing lab providing objective analysis for the communications and technology market.

Early bird applications are due March 23, 2010. Final Deadline is April 13, 2009. Learn more about the Unified Communications TMC Labs Innovation Award and apply.
