2009 TMC Labs Innovation Award Call for Entries

Norwalk, CT—Technology Marketing Corporation, a global media company, has announced a call for entries for the 2009 TMC Labs Innovation Award presented by INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine. The Tenth Annual INTERNET TELEPHONY TMC Labs Innovation Award honors IP Communications products and services that are truly innovative.
While innovation is frequently a question of firsts, often it is taking an existing idea and improving upon it. Challenging established standards and introducing different approaches to achieve distinctive results signify innovation within this industry. The TMC Labs Innovation Award will honor ground-breaking products in the IP Communications world.
"TMC Labs looks for the companies whose products have broken the mold when it comes to launching a new product or putting a new spin to an existing application,” said Rich Tehrani, President and Group Editor-in-Chief. “The TMC Labs engineers have extensive knowledge of the IP communications market and are anxious to begin their search for this year’s trendsetters. Only a handful of companies that show their out-of-box thinking to transform the industry will be honored."
Company revenue or number of products sold is not a factor in determining winners. The TMC Labs Innovation Award is based on the concept that the product or service demonstrates raw innovation, uniqueness and represents a significant contribution to the industry.
